Sustainable Achievements in 2023
At PetSelect, we are proud to share a significant milestone in our commitment to Sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In 2023, we achieved a substantial 52.8% reduction in our purchases of virgin plastic as part of our strategy to meet Goal 12: Responsible Production and Consumption.
Our specific actions include:
- Shrink-wrapping trays with 70% recycled material.
- Tetra Recart® pallet straps with 75% recycled content.
- Pallet covering film with 70% recycled material.
These accomplishments not only testify to our dedication to the environment but also underscore our strong commitment to sustainability throughout our supply chain. While we have reached these milestones, we acknowledge that there is still much work to be done.
