At PetSelect, we are proud to announce that our new wet pet food biofactory is now fully up and running — a key milestone in our strategy as a manufacturer committed to sustainability, industrial efficiency, and innovation tailored to our clients’ needs.
The project, named “Sustainable Petfood 360”, was selected as a beneficiary of the Circular Economy PERTE, promoted by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) and funded by the European Union through theNextGenerationEU recovery instrument.
Designed as a high-efficiency and low-impact facility, the new plant reflects our commitment to a more responsible production model through:
- The use of locally sourced raw materials with a low carbon footprint
- Advanced processes aimed at reducing environmental impact
- The development of safe, high-value-added recipes packaged in 100% recyclable formats, carefully chosen to support a more circular model
With this major industrial transformation, PetSelect strengthens its position as a reliable B2B partner for brands and distributors across Europe, expanding production capacity while advancing our vision for a more sustainable pet food industry.
The “Sustainable Petfood 360” project is a beneficiary of the 2022 grant programme for the promotion of the circular economy in companies, awarded by the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), and funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
